Stephen Taylor, 79, of Ridgeland, SC passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Coastal Carolina Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Deacon Stephen Taylor was born September 16, 1941, to the late Jacob and Lily Taylor. He was the youngest of Twelve children in which all proceeded him in death.
He was educated in the public school systems of Jasper County. He met and married Mary F. Taylor of St. Helena S.C to this union was born three children. Deacon Taylor was a member of Kingdom Touch Ministries. Steve was employed with the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicle for thirty-five years. Deacon Taylor loved being a mechanic and in his spare time he liked watching t.v, two shows he enjoyed particularly were WalkerTexas Ranger and Heat of the Night.
Deacon Stephen Taylor entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, SC. Proceeding him in death was his wife and his twin sons, Donald and Ronald Taylor.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter Towanda Taylor, a special and devoted niece Ms. Sheila Taylor Williams, an adopted devoted grandson Reginald (Junior) Sheftall, one Goddaughter Sanquetta Mitchell Ben of Houston, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephew’s friends and other relatives.
