Veronia Griffin

Veronica Doretha Griffin was born March 28, 1964, to Vander and Sadie Williams, Jr. in Walterboro, South Carolina.
At an early age, Veronica joined Deep Creek Baptist Church in Islandton, SC. Veronica attended the public schools in Colleton County graduating in 1982 from Ruffin High School. She was employed at Aarons Beauty, Roni’s Haircare, and Hampton Board of Disability. Veronica enjoyed doing hair, shopping, spending time with family, and decorating. 
Veronica was joined in Holy Matrimony to Lonnie Griffin, Jr. This union was blessed with 35 years of marriage.
On Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC. Veronica Doretha Griffin gained her wings and went to be with her Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Charles Williams, Tyrone Williams, and Bernard Williams; sisters: Mary Ann McFadden and Monica Williams; niece: LaShonda Williams and nephew: Vander O. Williams.
Veronica leaves to cherish her unforgettable memories: her husband: Lonnie Griffin, Jr. of Early Branch, SC; her children: Antonio Griffin (Meyoka) of Hampton, SC and Eva Holmes (Tony) of Walterboro, SC; grandchildren: Easton Griffin, Emersyn Griffin, Yairely Beras, Symone Holmes, and Tony Holmes, III; sisters: Lula Mae Harrison (Christopher) of Walterboro, SC, Dianne Townsend (Clifford) of Hollywood and Terria Wilson (Ernest) of Lodge, SC; brother: David Williams (Cheryl) of Islandton, SC; sisters in law: Vanessa Williams, Julia Thornburg (Kameron) and Bobbie Johnson; father in law: Lonnie Griffin, Sr.; to include a host of other relatives, friends, church family, and coworkers.
