Yanisha Logan, 43, of Ridgeland passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Coastal Carolina Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.

Yanisha Lashawn Logan was born on September 27, 1977, to Luvenia Logan and James Edward Hugue (Betty Hugue). She graduated from Jasper County High School in 1997. She was the manager at McDonald’s for many years and she loved to cook. She spent most of her days sitting in her living room watching Gospel lectures online and listening to Gospel music. She loved her family and friends as she would say “To the moon and back”.
Yanisha was preceded in death by her brother John Singleton, and her sister Nicole Carter.
Yanisha leaves behind a large family to cherish her memories: her mom Luvenia Logan, her father James Edward Hugue( Betty Hugue) three children; Shandequa Elliott, Shaniqua Elliot, and Shantayasia Dunbar, four sisters; Pamela (Rodney) Battiste, Michelle Smith, Tara Singleton, and Stephanie Carter, brothers; Charles Logan Jr., Tyrone Logan, Clifton Smith, James Gillyard, Lawrence Hugue, James Carter, Darien Gillyard, Kevin Polite, Janeil Logan, and Josh Heyward. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
