Zachary Bennett Obituary

Zachary Bennett 26, of Cottageville, South Carolina passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Colleton Medical Center.  Grandson of Mrs. Justine Walker. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home of Walterboro. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.


Zachary Tywan “Big Donkie” Bennett was born October
2, 1996 in Walterboro, SC. Zachary always know how to make you
laugh no matter how bad your day is. He also had a heart of gold with
deep little dimples. He was employed with Riceland Timber Company.
He loved his job as a Machine Operator.
On June 19, 2022 God dispatched his Angels to call both young men to their heavenly home.
Navar and Zachary were born to the late Bernice Bennett and Jessie Harley of Orangeburg, SC.
Due to the untimely death of their mother, both boys was raised by their maternal grandmother Jestine
Walker from early age until their adulthood. The love for their grandmother was unconditional.
Navar and Zachary were educated in the public schools of Colleton County and joined St. John
AME Church of Cottageville, SC where they developed a strong faith for God.
Navar and Zachary was preceded in death by their mother Bernice Bennett and Uncle Joe
Nathan Walker.
They leave to cherish their memories their father Jessie Harley, grandparents Jestine(Mama)
Walker, Nathan (Papa) Walker of Cottageville, SC, Missouri Harley of Atlanta, GA, two sisters; LaDae
Harley of Orangeburg, SC, and Shinique Bennett of Orangeburg, SC, three brothers; James Bennett
(Andrea) of Walterboro, SC, Marty Harley of Orangeburg, SC and Darius Harley of Atlanta, GA,
five aunts; Ruby Hampleton (John) of Cottageville, SC, Willie Bee Holmes, Virginia Walker, and Inez
Walker all of Walterboro, SC and Vivian Tucker of Summerville, SC, five uncles; John Hampleton
(Alverta) of Cottageville, SC, Lenell Walker (Sarah) of Neyles, SC, Clarence Walker of Washington, DC,
Lamont Harley of Atlanta, GA and Andre Harley, special friend of Navar Terica Nelson, and Special
Friend of Zachary Evony Bellinger, and a host if close cousins, family and friends.
